As a child, I spent a lot of time near water and was in Southern California. Moving to a landlocked state left me feeling incomplete, like a part of me was missing. But then, I was given the chance to own an underwater camera and suddenly, I found peace once again. This underwater photography is a manifestation of my journey back to serenity after feeling lost. Despite trying to keep a composed exterior, I was searching for a connection to my hometown, a way to bring a sense of calm and peace into my life even from afar. Through my lens, I capture the tranquility that I had once lost but have since rediscovered.
