About Me

Challenges are not obstacles, but rather opportunities to grow and innovate. I jokingly refer to myself as a lazy innovator, as my desire to simplify tasks stems from a need to make life easier for everyone. I have always been fascinated with streamlining everyday things, and this passion led me to pursue a career in design. My mission is to communicate a clear and impactful visual message through minimalistic designs, engaging my audience in both the visual and experiential elements.

This mindset has shaped me into the person I am today, bringing me immense joy through creating both visual designs and experiences. It's fascinating to observe how people respond to different colors, elements, and copy work, and I'm constantly driven by the reactions to my photographs. I am always eager to learn and create meaningful work.

Why I started as a photographer

I started my photography journey like many other graphic designers I know, with a goal to create my own assets and stock images for future projects. However, as I delved deeper into the craft, I found myself drawn to it more and more. I started out with a humble beginning - an old film camera purchased for just $10. The challenge of learning how a camera works and mastering the medium was a problem I was eager to solve. But that journey only fueled my passion for photography even more. Today, I use my lens to inspire my own explorations and to connect with others, using photography as a means of communication.

Why UX/UI

My fascination with design stems from my curious nature as a "what if" person. I have always been intrigued by reading manuals and finding ways to improve and simplify things. Growing up as the oldest in a Spanish-speaking family, I learned the importance of making things accessible and understandable for others. This mindset became second nature to me at a young age. When I discovered the field of UX and learned about the focus on understanding the human thought process, I was immediately motivated and drawn to it. Joining a community of like-minded individuals on a mission to improve the user experience was incredibly exciting for me.
